Eric Geyer Memorial Scholarship

Eric R. Geyer
1973 - 2018

Our beloved Eric Geyer passed away in January 2018.

We feel the best way to honor Eric and his memory is to do what he did best—help shape the lives of young people, and help them find their best futures.

To that end, we are honored to start an endowed Eric Geyer Memorial Scholarship. And we need your help.

Please join us in contributing to the endowment. If we succeed in fully funding this campaign, we can award a meaningful scholarship every year in perpetuity.

Eric had a profound impact on thousands of students. He will be remembered for his persistence, his dedication to his craft, his high standards, his coaching, his grace in victory and in defeat, and his fierce belief in the inherent talent within each and every one of his students.

Through this scholarship, Eric's family, friends, mentors, colleagues, and former students will preserve his legacy as a teacher—so that talented students can pursue their passions and their potential.

The Eric Geyer Memorial Scholarship will be open to graduating high school seniors who:
- have competed at the state level in Drama, Speech or Debate
- plan to attend a Texas university
