A Life Well Lived - Sandra Greene Memorial Scholarship

Sandra Greene gave her first extemp speech in 1961 and spent 30 years torturing her students by making them do extemp as well. She apologizes to all she made do it but reminds you that it made you all better people. As Sandra battled cancer, she was reminded of all the times her students were at tournaments but didn't earn the big shiny gold, silver or bronze medals. To honor those students, her coaching legacy and underdogs everywhere, her family is establishing this memorial scholarship in her name to remember "A Life Well Lived." It will be given to a student reaching the finals of UIL State in Persuasive Speaking who places 4th, 5th or 6th.
